Viventis Cebu Business Launch

As we constantly bring our vision to life, Viventis celebrated a new milestone in building the future of career creation - expanding the business to Cebu. With the theme, “Beyond Borders: Driving the Future of Career Creation,” our expansion to one of the business-friendly cities in the country signifies our renaissance of the human profession as we prepare for the 4th Industrial Revolution, as well as our constant pursuit to reshape the human capital landscape.
Top decision makers, business partners, and prospective clients were present at the launch. Our Executive Director, Yu Ming Chin introduced Viventis and its efforts to build the future of career creation. Esteemed speakers also graced the event: Kelly Palmer, Degreed’s Chief Learning & Talent Officer discussed on lifelong learning in the current digital age; and Eric Yee, LinkedIn’s Head of Channel Partnerships (Talent Solutions) for APAC dove deep into talent intelligence — leveraging on the power of data & insights to create a tailor-fit and smart recruitment strategy for organizations.
Attendees enjoyed networking opportunities and learned about Viventis’ suite of services and how it can help Cebu businesses thrive in the new world of work. The Viventis Cebu team is excited to serve the Cebu market by providing top-notch career solutions.
CCAP Contact Islands 2018

The Contact Center of the Philippines
(CCAP) held their annual Contact Islands conference last July 25 and 26 at Shangri-La Mactan Resort & Spa, Cebu. With the theme “Leading with CX in a Digital World,”
the conference emphasized on leveraging on digital solutions to empower customers and create a progressive customer experience in the new digital economy.
Composed of plenary talks, breakout sessions, and panel discussions, the conference featured business thought leaders and key decision makers from top contact centers in the country as well as large corporations who have redefined the new world of work in order to gain competitive advantage.
As a member of CCAP, Viventis participated as one of the event sponsors - bringing in two prominent speakers from the learning & development and human capital space. Kelly Palmer, the Chief Learning & Talent Officer at Degreed served as keynote speaker discussing on “Gearing Up for the Hybrid Workforce: Humans + Machines.” Eric Yee, the Head of Channel Partnerships (Talent Solutions), APAC at LinkedIn served as a panelist for the plenary “Jobs of the Future: Will We Pivot in Time?”
Degrees of Coherence: Reshaping the Future of Education

The education sector is going through significant changes with the continued emergence of technology and Viventis acknowledged this fact by raising awareness on the future of education. Reaching out to top decision makers, owners, board of directors, heads, and higher education officials, we organized an event entitled “Degrees of Coherence: Reshaping the Future of Education” to emphasize the impact of transformation to education in today’s increasingly digital world.
Education advocates and renowned experts in the field shared their insights and perspectives on the changing education landscape with the influx of disruptive technologies in making learning more dynamic and innovative.
The keynote address was delivered by Kelly Palmer, Chief Learning & Talent Officer of Degreed. She highlighted on how to advocate a culture of continuous development to build critical future-ready skills and how the Degreed platform has revolutionized digital learning. Dr. Edizon Fermin, Director for Innovation Development of Miriam College explored on the nuances in transitioning to e-learning and a new model of non-traditional education system as adopted in Miriam College. The former Executive Director of CHED, Karol Mark Yee tackled on the future of qualifications where he identified the alternative mechanisms to upskill learners and employees, as well as the emerging ways of recognizing learning competencies of today and tomorrow. Lastly, Dr. Custer Deocaris, Head of Research Management Division of CHED and Marianne Vital, Consultant at Asian Development Bank took on the topic Decoding the Philippine Educational Landscape featuring the latest trends and strategic insights in innovation and internationalization of the country’s educational landscape.
The event closed with an engaging panel discussion session featuring all speakers and panelists including John Paul Villanueva, Viventis’ Associate Director for Talent Development, Rhodora Angela Ferrer, PEAC’s Executive Director, and Dr. Dalisay Brawner, University of Makati’s Executive Director for Knowledge Management Unit.
